K-ELECTRIC cannot charge any tariff plan to consumers without approval from the government regulating authority (NEPRA) and notification to the government of Pakistan. The tariff schedule of the K-ELECTRIC unit price has been approved by NEPRA and been notified by the GOVT. As per the decision of the Authority, residential consumers will be given the benefit of only one previous slab.

For above mentioned, variable charges for Peak categories under the head of Applicable uniform tariff is inclusive of the industrial support package notified vide SRO 12(I)/2019 dated 1st January 2019 as amended in SRO 810(I)/2019 dated July 12, 2019.
As per SRO 1291(I)/2020 dated December 03, 2020, a special rate/discount for industrial consumers on incremental consumption will be charged effective November 01, 2020, to June 30, 2021.
For B1 consumers there shall be a fixed minimum charge of Rs. 350 per month. For B2 consumers there shall be a fixed minimum charge of Rs. 2,000 per month. For B3 consumers there shall be a fixed minimum charge of Rs. 50,000 per month.
